The committee of the Northern Rivers Motorcycle Enthusiast Club Inc (NORMEC) is pleased to announce that the club has been approved as a member club of the Motorcycle Council of NSW (MCC of NSW).
The Motorcycle Council of NSW Inc. (MCC of NSW) is an internationally recognised umbrella group for motorcycle clubs, associations and ride groups, in the state of New South Wales, Commonwealth of Australia.
Established in 1982, the MCC of NSW is the peak body for motorcycling NSW. It represents over 41 clubs, with more than 36,000 riders.
The objectives of the MCC of NSW are in alignment with our own club objectives and our membership to the MCC of NSW represent the commitment of NORMEC to be actively involved in issues affecting riders in Northern NSW. We have it all here – wire rope barriers, inconsistent helmet standards and regulations across the border, rural roads in states of disrepair, lack of tolerance to lane filtering, regions with poor mobile phone access in case of emergencies … You name it and we are affected by it.
As part of our membership to the MCC of NSW we have a position available for a club member to act as a delegate and represent the club to the MCC of NSW. We also accept submissions from interested community members and members of the motorcycling community in Northern NSW to be considered for presentation to the MCC of NSW. Contact us for more information.
NORMEC encourages club members and those in the motorcycling community to join the MCC of NSW as an individual member and to support the MCC of NSW while benefiting from the range of discounts made available to individual MCC of NSW members.
